Clay Fite's Benefit Run

On May 30th Brad, myself, and the boys participated in a Fun Run for Clay Fite. Brad ran the 3 miles but I walked (and pushed the stroller). It was good to be with lots of our friends and family members of the Fite's. We had a good morning and was good to get out and exercise for a good cause. Brad ran the 3 miles in 29:39. (Not bad for someone who gets NO EXERCISE!!) The boys and I WALKED it in 51:11. We think of Clay and his family several times a day and hope for good days ahead.

Carson and Cody (Clay's 2 oldest brothers) got to hold the flag for the Star Spangle Banner.

Having camara difficulty

Sometimes technology really makes me ANGRY!!!!! A blog is not worth reading if you don't add pictures!!!!!! We have been busy and I've taken lots of pictures BUT I can't download them onto my computer. So....be patient and I will get back to posting whenever the problem is solved. In the mean time..I'm about to lose all my hair.

In need of a stick horse

I'm embarrassed to admit but my boys love playing with the plunger. Before you panic and think what a gross mom I am I must add....IT'S NEVER HAD TO BE PUT TO USE!!!!!! Trevin got it out of the bathroom one day and started to pretend it was a stick horse. I think he is trying to tell me something----get the poor boys a stick horse!!! After Trevin was finished playing with it Trace thought it was quiet entertaining to drop it behind his head. Trevin would laugh and Trace would do it again.

"GO HORSEY GO!!" Or should I say "GO PLUNGER GO!!"

Trevin showing us that it really is clean.

Trace dropping it over his head!

What are little boys made of?

What are little boys made of?
Frogs and snails, and puppy dogs tails,
That's what little boys are made of!

This nursery rhyme came to mind whenever I took these pictures. In East Texas we had BUGS and MORE BUGS!! In Granbury we have SNAILS--and MORE SNAILS!! Trevin likes to pull them off the wall and then take his finger and dig in the shell. GROSS!!! I really have never seen so many snails in my life. They cling to everything. It won't be long and the boys will probably be finding frogs and pulling puppy dog tails.

A snail moving VERY SLOWLY across our front rug after our big rain last week.

Snails hanging on to the fence outside our front door.

Trevin taking a "taste test" after he dug it out of its shell.

Trace and Trevin pulling snails off the brick.

Trace taking his turn. Notice his dirty hands---snail slime is dirty! YUCK!!!

Trevin taking his share of two!

This bunch are only here until the boys spot them!!

Play Day With Friends

Yesterday the boys and I went over to Bambi, Mia, and Ryder's house to play. Nancy, Christopher, and Ryan joined us also. The kids had a GREAT time playing. We played outside, read books, ran around, and had a delicious lunch.

I can't say everyone was patiently waiting their turn!!

Mia got tired of pushing so Christopher volunteered to push. Trevin LOVED every minute of it.

My kids NEVER fuss

HA! HA! They are starting to want the same toy the other one is playing with. It doesn't matter what it is. The other day they were fighting over the laundry basket!

I'm getting there......

OK! OK! I need some help!!! As you can see it has been about 16 months since I have REALLY posted something on my blog and I'm having a memory freeze on what to do. (Kristen was sitting right beside me helping me and now I'm all alone!) I have messed with this for about 45 minutes now and I've gotten nowhere. Brad is going to be coming home and the boys will be waking up from there nap and supper is not ready!! All because I have been sitting here trying to figure this out. I can't post a picture----I promise I don't look the same as I do in our family picture.

So...continue staying tuned and I will work on it again soon.

One last family picture

I wanted to get our picture made together before we had the two boys. Brad didn't "complain" to much so I was happy to get a few pictures. It was a nice evening and I was happy with what we came home with.

Baby Shower--July 2007

On July 28, Sandra Beeman, Shanda Smith, and Kristen Steinbrecher hosted a baby shower for us. They worked hard to help make it a special day. We got lots of nice gifts to help with our two little ones. Mom and Jan were able to come so we had both "GRANDMAS" there!! It was a special day I will remember for years!
